Performance Therapy Institute Testing.jpg

We would like to sincerely thank all those who invest their time, energy, and committed attention to the betterment of our patients, athletes, communities, and to the advancement of our collective knowledge.  Without the dedication and determination of countless educators and clinician-scientists around the world, we would be handicapped in our approach to comprehensively train the individuals who deserve and stand to benefit the most from our care. We are honored and privileged to stand upon the shoulders of those who paved a path before us.

NMT Academy is proud to work closely with distinguished clinicians, organizations, and institutions, using rigorous research and our best current evidence to apply and quantify the effectiveness of training interventions with intention to maximize performance outcomes.

We collaborate with physical therapists, orthopedists, movement specialists, psychologists, coaches, and trainers with enormously diverse experience and expertise, in a continual effort to design and refine high-quality training interventions that are both adaptive in nature and specific to the intertwining needs of athletes and performers across the spectrum of growth and development.

Performance Therapy Institute

Select advanced motion analyses are offered amongst a wide range of services at Performance Therapy Institute, led by Kevin Robinson, MS, DSc, institution co-founder and Director of the Motion Analysis Lab at Belmont University, School of Physical Therapy. Dr. Robinson collaborates with his co-owner, Josh Colbert, DPT, Cert. MDT, alongside a dedicated team of licensed physical therapists who operate in the clinic. NMT Academy is proud to base many of its operations in this facility, including clinical research as well as outpatient physical therapy practice.

Our research, assessment, and interventional methodologies emerge in part from the employment of three-dimensional motion analysis (MyoMotion™) technologies as core components of the evaluation process, alongside a battery of critical strength and dynamic balance measures.
